Train To Move
Our bodies are meant to move and thrive while being essential to our overall health and wellness. Humans are designed for movements like squatting, hinging, pushing, and pulling, though habits of a lifetime can put those natural functions out of kilter. This is why our TRAIN TO MOVE class is focused on helping you achieve a life of increased activity while experiencing less pain and discomfort.
You cannot build a house without a solid foundation. Learn how to properly execute foundational body movement patterns. This will help prepare you to handle greater loads and higher levels of activity with more effectiveness! Setting you up for success.

WEst African Dance
Each month will be a 4 week series where we focus on a different dance and put together a small choreography. Missing a class or dropping in for 1 or 2 is perfectly fine!
Classes will start with a short stretch and warm up so that we can loosen our bodies and get in touch with the rhythm of the drum. From there, we will learn moves from the particular dance we are learning that week. Some days we may end class with a solo circle so that everyone can enjoy and show off their new moves. JOURNEY TO SELF; A ConScious Dance Experience BEGINS aPRIL 7TH AT 6:30PM-8PM
The intention and focus of Journey to Self is to invite you, the dancer, to discover and experience who you are when you get out of your head and into your body. It’s about giving your body permission to move in any way and discovering the beauty, power, vulnerability, awkwardness, and so much more that exists within you. All you need is the curiosity to explore and a willingness to step in and be present!
I do not teach dance steps; you know how to move already and you’ve known since you were a child…before the world got its hands on you. I offer an idea for you to focus on and explore as you move to great music and dance among other inward travelers. No previous dance experience is needed. We typically wear loose clothing that feels good to move around in and we dance bare-footed.
Shake off the tedium of your work week and step into your weekend feeling more alive, invigorated, soulful…yourself!
Move With Stability
Mobility Training is your ability to actively control and access your full range of motion within a joint. Mobility training optimizes movement and performance by increasing the range of motion within your joints and surrounding muscles. When you’re more mobile, you can train harder, recover faster, and perform better! Thursdays 4:15pm
